It's my 100th blog. I'm proud of myself for the consistincy first and foremost. Now that I got that out the way lemme tell you about random act of fuckery i'll like to call: Random OD!

On the First Random Od I give you a recent Paul Pierce interview.

Pierce waited to be overseas Madrid, Spain to be exact to make some outrageous comments. When asked if Kobe Bryant was the best basketball player in the world he answered:

"I don't think Kobe is the best player. I'm the best player. There's a line that separates having confidence and being conceited. I don't cross that line but I have a lot of confidence in myself."

And his top 5 players in the NBA are: Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo, Kendrick Perkins and Paul Pierce.

Waw! Pierce not only you are full of yourself for putting your name and your Boston buddies in your top 5 but also delusional for thinking because you won 1 NBA Championship that you are better than Kobe. Before even comparing yourself to Kobe you need to get to his level with 3 championship rings, 2 All Star Game MVP and one regular season MVP. Then we the fans and sports analysts will start comparing your game skills and decide who's the best.
But let just assume that you are at his level for the sake of the debate, there is no way your talent and understanding of the game surpass Kobe's, There is no way your defensive skills surpass Kobe's and there is no way in Earth or in Hell that you'd be better than Kobe or Lebron or Wade or Duncan or Garnett. Now I understand as a professional player you convince yourself every morning when you wake up in front of a mirror that you are the best in the league to boost your ego and confidence but next time when you are asked keep it for yourself and show some humility.
Let's be real here, Pierce wouldn't be where he is right now without Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett. Last year Paul Pierce wasn't even talking like that because he was missing in action for the Playoffs.

I'm better than Kobe. Pleeeeease, in your dreams you are.

I think this lil nigga Chaz Ortiz, has been absolutely killing it lately! I feel he needs some recognition so I decided to blog about it. Chaz is currently on the Zoo York flow team, but with the way he’s been handling business lately, he’ll likely climb to amateur status sooner than later. At only thirteen years old, Chaz has been blowin’ up the contest circuit and making the hearts of teenage girls flutter from coast-to-coast. Over the past few months, Chaz further stacked his resume by winning the 2007 Mountain Dew Free Flow Tour and placing 2nd in Volcom’s Damn Am contest which brought out all the rippers. He also crushed it at the final stop of the 2007 AST Dew Tour broadcast on NBC in October. He skated super smooth and consistent, with style well beyond his years, and ended up placing 6th behind Ryan Sheckler, Greg Lutzka, and other big name pros. Chaz is a super cool kid with a very bright future, and Zoo’s stoked to have him in the family.

He just got 2nd place in 2008 Mountain Dew AST Pro Competition.... It's pretty amazing because he's not even a Pro.... And he's only 14 years old now.

Album Review:Lil Wayne "Tha Carter 3"

Ok I think I finally made up my mind on the album.
I should start this by stating I think there are some straight up, dope songs on the album. That includes "Dr. Carter", "Don't Shoot Me Down"(My personal favorite), "Tie My Hands", "A Milli", "Mr. Carter", and "Comfortable." Some of the production was kinda off, and I don't know, Lil Wayne just lacks content. Simile this, metaphor that isn't that great at all the time. It fits great within a concept, as shown in the Katrina-inspired "Tie my Hands" and "Dr. Carter." "Dr. Carter" has a really fresh, organic beat that rises to the occassion when necessary...Swizz killed that one! And the concept was entertaining and purposeful, I don't know if I can say that abotu his singles or a lot of the filler on the record. However, Lil Wayne with content has shown flashes of briliance. For the most part, he really has no content and I get kinda bored. Thankfully for him, a million people likely disagree. Now this "A Millie" joint is a good track and the beat is fierce, but people need to calm down with how hot it is. "Grindin" from The Clipse, still outdoes this beat ten to one in my opinion.
To put it plainly, do you see this album on the level of "illmatic"? That answer is likely no, and might be an unfair comparison. Still when I think classic and hopefully when most people throw that around, this album will not come to mind. He needs to lay off the cough syrup / codeine / coke / whatever. However, Wayne has shown that he can spit bars. The whole "To the left, to the left. If you wanna leave, be my guess you can step, thinking you are irreplacable listening to beyonce, I put your ass out on your B-day" (not perfectly quoted), is just fire. my lord.
