Random OD: Charlie Sheen Is The Most Popular Person On The Internet

The Sheen media machine may have slowed down a bit, but dude is still winning. According to a survey conducted by the Global Language Monitor, the former "Two and a Half Men" star is the most discussed entity on the Internet, topping the iPad and President Obama.

Global Language Monitor analyzed the top 20 persons or things being talked about on blogs, Internet-only news sites, and social networks like Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. It found that between January 1 and March 8, Charlie Sheen came out on top.

However, when it came to tradition print media, he was ranked 18th. What does that mean? According to Paul JJ Payack, president of Global Language Monitor, that's what happens when there's an "editorial process that helps discern which news is most significant for the reader."

Or maybe Charlie Sheen is just too bitchin' for traditional media. Just a thought.
